BWEA Wave & Tidal 09

BWEA is delighted to announce the South West RDA as core sponsors of BWEA Wave & Tidal 09, the world's largest event dedicated to wave and tidal stream energy. Over 300 government and industry professionals will attend BWEA's sixth annual wave and tidal event, which will take place at the Assembly Rooms in Bath on Thursday 30th April 2009, with a networking reception the evening before at Bath's historic Pump Rooms, jointly sponsored by EMEC & BSI.

Conference - submit an abstract to speak

The conference programme is currently being finalised and sessions will address:

  • Development and deployment - a show and tell by device developers on recent testing and deployment.
  • Wave and tidal in the environment - what is needed to understand marine environmental impacts and allow deployment.
  • Getting connected - what are the grid requirements of projects and what is being done to meet them.

The conference proceedings will be posted online approximately two weeks after the event. The proceedings will include copies of the powerpoint presentation and audio recordings of each session. The sponsor will be entitled to:
